Maryland Public Television to Join WBAL in Broadcasting Maryland Lottery Drawings

Starting Monday, October 24, 2011, Maryland Public Television (MPT) will begin airing the Maryland Lottery drawings throughout the state. The drawings, which will continue to be conducted at Lottery partner station WBAL-TV, will be rebroadcast on all of Maryland Public Television’s channels, including HD and V-me, its Spanish-language channel. “The additional broadcasts will provide statewide coverage of the drawings,” said Maryland Lottery Director Stephen Martino. “Expanding our broadcast reach is good for our players, as well as for the agency’s commitment to providing transparency in the drawings process.”
