Pick 3 Pays Off Big for Players

Midday Triples Break the Bank

According to Lottery officials, today’s Midday Pick 3 results of 6-6-6 broke the bank.  The $1.1 million prize payout was more than four times the amount wagered by players on the drawing.  A happy day, indeed, for the holders of the 4,764 Pick 3 tickets that correctly matched the winning numbers.

“Triples and quadruples are always popular combinations with players of our daily games,” reported Carole Everett, the Lottery’s Director of Communications.  “We know that whenever they hit we’re in line for a significant payout.”  Today’s Pick 3 marks the third time this year that triples have been drawn.  The last occurrence was June 5 when 5-5-5 was drawn.
