Powerball Watch-To-Win Promotion Unavailable In Maryland

$2 million logo hunt coming February 7

Beginning tonight, Wednesday, January 26th, several Powerball states will be launching a limited time Powerball Watch-To-Win promotion that is scheduled to last up to eight drawings.  The Maryland Lottery has elected not to participate in this promotion.

However, the good news is that on Monday, February 7 we will be launching an all games promotion entitled the $2 Million Logo Hunt.  The promotion, which includes our daily games (Pick 3, Pick 4 and Bonus Match 5), as well as our jackpot games (Multi-Match, Mega Millions and Powerball) and our monitor games (Keno and Racetrax), will feature $2 million in cash giveaways and one lucky Lottery player will win a grand prize of $250,000. Lottery players will also be able to win instant FREE play’s during the promotional period.

    Mdlottery…..I agree with Sharon. I’m sure other states are just as busy launching new products. If you are busy….I hope you are busy trying to figure out a md lottery application for IPAD users. Unfortunately, viewing your website on an IPad doesn’t allow you to see everything on some pages. IPAD offers a lotto app that covers all participating states but I would like to view on mdlootery.com. Can you work on launching thtat…..please

    I like to know who and why made this decision to not participate!!!! It would have been nice that the people who play lottery game should have had the chance to decide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Sharon: The Maryland Lottery, along with many other state lotteries, declined to participate in the Powerball promotion – in part because we are busy launching other new and exciting products and promotions that offer even greater value. Like our $2 Million Logo Hunt promotion, which begins February 7th. With this promotion, our players will have the chance to win up to $250,000 AND, as its name suggests, will give Maryland players over $2 million in prizes.
