Parkville Resident Wins $100,000 Birthday Surprise
 

(Baltimore) – Last Saturday, a former postal worker walked into J Convenience to make a birthday purchase for herself. She bought a Mega Millions ticket and a Big Bucks Party Pack. Her birthday wish was granted when the Poker Night scratch-off that was in her Party Pack revealed that she had won the ticket’s top prize of $100,000.  

The Parkville resident routinely purchases scratch-offs and Mega Million tickets, but this birthday surprise came at a particularly good time. The winner’s mother recently passed away and playing the Lottery was a frequent hobby they would share together. Her winnings will allow her to redecorate her kitchen in a nostalgic manner with materials taken from her mother’s old house.

“I haven’t told my son yet. I want to surprise him this Memorial Day weekend with the big $100,000 Lottery check,” she said.

The lucky winner is a loyal customer at J Convenience.  The store’s manager spoke with a Lottery official and said that they were extremely happy that she was able to win so much money. This is not the store’s first big winner and every time they are just as excited to share the experience with their customers. “We love the Lottery!” the store manager said. “We can’t wait for our next winner!”
