First Scratch-off Purchase Leaves
Lasting Impression

and Daughter win $50,000 Joker’s Wild Prize
(Baltimore) – Michelle Moultrie couldn’t believe her eyes when she
saw she had won $50,000 playing the Joker’s Wild scratch-off
game. Michelle almost never plays the Lottery and has never before
bought a scratch-off ticket. Last Friday, her mother, Towanda Smith,
finally convinced her to play. Towanda even agreed to purchase the
game for her daughter. The two Catonsville residents scratched the
winning ticket together and from that point forward they would
forever remember Friday, May 23rd, as “The Ticket Day.”
“I couldn’t
breathe,” said Michelle when describing her first winning
experience, “I was just so excited!”
Towanda loves
scratch-offs and plays multiple games a day. She has won on more
than one occasion, but never as much money as her daughter. “This
big win came at the perfect time for Michelle,” said Towanda. “It’s
a huge blessing.”
Michelle plans to
use her winnings to pay off bills and purchase a new car. After this
huge initial win, she has decided to start playing the Lottery more
often. She even plans to use some of her money to start a new
Lottery fund. “I can’t believe I won on my first try,” said
Michelle, “I have to keep playing!”
The winning
ticket was purchased at Cigarette Discount Outlet located at 5405
East Dr. in Halethorpe.
