Big Money for a Pikesville Woman
Winner Takes Home $100,000 Big Money Doubler scratch-off Prize

(Baltimore) – “It’s amazing how your life can change overnight,” said a very excited Linda A. Harris-Williams from Pikesville. She is $100,000 richer after winning one of the top-tier prizes on the Big Money Doubler scratch-off ticket.

The 51-year-old Zurich Insurance Company underwriter claimed her prize today with her husband, Charles, a real estate investor and author. She bought the ticket last night after picking up her nine-year-old-daughter from school. Linda said she stopped at the store to purchase Mega Millions tickets and bought a few scratch-offs while she was there. She waited until she got home to scratch the tickets.

“When I saw that I had a $100,000 winner, I started pulling my hair out,” said Linda. “This is mind-blowing, I couldn’t even sleep last night.”

Luck seems to follow Linda. She married her husband in the lucky city of Las Vegas and she recently won $12,000 playing the slots in Atlantic City on her birthday.

The couple, married for 12 years, said they are going to use the money for their daughter’s college fund. The winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 1 Greenwood Place in Pikesville.
