Cash Casino Brings Big Shock to LaPlata Woman
$50,000 Win is Blessing in Disguise

 
(Baltimore)- A Charles County resident won $50,000 on the Cash Casino scratch-off ticket.  She purchased the ticket on Saturday while on her way to get gas with her boyfriend.  “I went to check my Racetrax tickets, and just bought a scratch-off for fun,” she said. “When I told my boyfriend I had won $50,000, he thought I was crazy.” 

The single mother-of-four raced over to tell her father of her big win.  “My dad couldn’t believe it, he has already started looking at Plasma TV’s for me to buy,” exclaimed the Charles County school bus driver.  She then proceeded to call her brother and sister, and then her children to inform them of the win. For the frequent Racetrax and occasional scratch-off player, this is not the first time she has hit it big, “I won $1,100 on a Racetrax trifecta a little while ago.” 

Along with paying bills and keeping up the cost of living, she plans to splurge a little with a new plasma and then maybe a family vacation.  “This is truly a blessing.  It hasn’t even sunk in yet.  I’m just overwhelmed,” said the 38 year old. “I am just so happy!”

The winning ticket was sold at Buddy’s Liquor located at 4611 Indian Head Highway, in Indian Head.
