Rockville Resident Wins $50,000 Playing Bonus Match 5

BALTIMORE, MD – A Montgomery County resident won $50,000 from the Bonus Match 5 drawing on June 27th. The longtime player took a break from work to buy the ticket. Later, that same evening, he found out that he had won the top-tier prize.

The man, who has a fondness for all Lottery games, said that he has been playing for 24 years and that this is his first big win." I checked it like four or five times," said the man, "I had practically memorized the numbers after looking at them so many times!"

With plans to erase his debt, he has told his family, but is going to keep his big prize win under lock and key.  

The winning ticket was was purchased at Classic Beer & Wine located at 891 Rockville Pike in Rockville.
