Baltimore County Woman On Track With Next Big Win
Wins $30,000 Racetrax Prize
(Baltimore)
– A very lucky Baltimore
County
woman strikes again playing Racetrax. The first time she
played, she won $6,000. This time, her winning ticket was worth
$30,000. “This is the most I have ever won,” said the 53-year-old.
The widow said
she plays Racetrax and Keno using birth dates, birth
months and other familiar numbers. This time around she played the
numbers 10, 11 and 12, in that order, representing the birth months
of her youngest grandson born in October, her younger sister born in
November, and her deceased husband born in December. The formula
proved very profitable. She played a variety of Lottery games that
morning before realizing she’d won on her Racetrax ticket.
The woman has had
such a winning streak that she was nonchalant when recounting her
experience. “It wasn’t a big deal when I found out I won,” she
admits. “She is very lucky,” said her friend who accompanied the
winner to Lottery Headquarters. What made her keep the winning
Racetrax ticket for nearly three weeks before claiming the
prize? “It was in my purse,” she said, “I figured it was time to get
rid of the “big ticket.”
The grandmother,
who has adopted her three grandchildren, plans to use the money
towards their college education and for her business. The winning
ticket was purchased at Sportsmans Lounge, located at 4723 Gwynn Oak
Ave. in Baltimore
City.
