Abingdon Woman Cleans Up With Bonus Match 5
Wins $50,000 Top-Prize

(Baltimore) A housekeeper from Abingdon won the $50,000 top prize last night playing Bonus Match 5. This made it quite a winning week for the woman, who just the day before, won $400 playing the very same game.

“I told my sisters that I had a funny feeling this week, that I was going to win some money,” she told Lottery officials. “When I won $400 I figured that was going to be it. I’m still in a bit of shock.” The mother-of-three bought her ticket yesterday and called the winning numbers line last night while playing bingo. “I went to bingo by myself to relax. When I realized I’d won I had no one to celebrate with,” said the two-time winner.

While expressing plans to fix up her home, she was most excited about her other plans for the new-found cash. Her daughter is getting married later this year and part of the winnings will go toward making the day and the honeymoon a little nicer. The rest will help buy a new car for her son. For now, she’s keeping her lucky Lottery news from her family because she plans to surprise her children with their gifts.

The winning ticket was purchased from All In One, located at 1327 Policy Drive in Belcamp.
