Ocean City Man Dreams of Big Win
Couple Takes Home $250,000 Mega Millions Prize

(Baltimore) – Could a dream have led a lucky Lottery player to a Mega Millions win? An Ocean City man thinks so. He had a dream about a winning ticket months ago and this past Tuesday, it came true when he won the $250,000 Mega Millions second-tier prize.

“He dreamt that he was on his way to Delaware to cash a Powerball ticket, when he looked down to see he had a Mega Millions ticket instead,” said the winner’s wife. “He realized he was going the wrong way and had to turn around to head to Baltimore.”

The retired couple found out about the win yesterday morning, while the husband was checking the numbers on the Lottery’s website, mdlottery.com. “I couldn’t believe it so I called my wife to see,” he said. “I’m not a very excitable person so it took a while for it to sink in,” said the wife. “Then I remembered his dream, it was really strange.”

The couple, who has been married for 38 years, is grateful for the win and plans to save their good fortune. The winning ticket was purchased at Ocean Market, located at 14107 Coastal Highway in Ocean City.
