Baltimore Man Wins$10,000 Tailgate Tripler Top Prize

 

(Baltimore) – A Baltimore County man was so excited about his win he had to wait until he calmed down to claim his prize. Two weeks ago the 42-year-old won the $10,000 top-prize after trying one of the new Tailgate Tripler scratch-off tickets. “I like to try new stuff,” said the winner. After he revealed the prize, he set the ticket aside. “I needed time to breathe,” he said.

After scratching the ticket, he revealed three helmet symbols and the $10,000 prize.  That’s when he knew he won big. The winner immediately hid the ticket in a special envelope, but he kept sneaking it out to peek. “I’d pull it out and watch and watch and watch that ticket,” he said. 

The excited winner said he plans to use the winnings for investments, but also to help his mother find the dream home she’s always wanted. The winning ticket was purchased at Goldberg’s Liquors on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.
