Abingdon Man Wins 4 Way Bingo $30,000 Top Prize

(Baltimore) – On his way to drop his brother off at home, Randall Alt picked up more than he expected. The two men stopped in a 7-11 store after Randall’s brother said he was thirsty and wanted a soda. While there, they decided to purchase four, 4 Way Bingo scratch-off tickets. Randall took two and his brother took the other two.

After he returned home, the 42-year-old General Motors employee, sat down and scratched his tickets. “I saw it, but I didn’t believe it,” said Randall. “I checked it a couple more times, then I called my brother.”

Randall’s sibling was equally skeptical. “No way.  You’re joking,” he said. The brother, who accompanied Randall to Lottery headquarters to claim his prize said that both men are big fans of scratch-off tickets. They typically buy several each week.

Randall, the father of five daughters, intends to use his winnings to get school supplies, pay off some bills, and “treat his brother well.”

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-11 #19253 located at 5400 Pulaski Hwy. in Perryville.
