Trip to the Post Office Delivers $30,734 Racetrax™ Win
 

BALTIMORE, MD – Annie Stanfield loves to play Racetrax, “It’s my very favorite,” said Annie, adding she likes all the Lottery games. “I play every day.”

The Baltimore City woman played a few Racetrax games early yesterday and then went home. She was on her way to the Post Office later that afternoon, when she decided to stop and play again. “I just had a feeling. Something said, go play a Trax.” Her intuition was right on the money when her numbers paid off in the amount of $30,734.

“I went back into the store -- I play there regularly, and handed the agent my Racetrax cards,” said Annie. “I always play the same numbers.” It was only a moment later that the race began. Annie leaned down just as the last number was called. “The agent started shouting, you won, you won,” said the 62-year-old mother-of-nine. “I looked up and it was like, whoa, thank you!”

Annie, who was accompanied to Lottery Headquarters by her daughter, immediately called her husband to share the good news. The first thing Annie intends to do with her winnings is take care of some bills. She may also take a short vacation with her husband to visit his family in North Carolina.

“Our son passed away two years ago,” said Annie. “We haven’t done anything like that since then,” she added. “This is nice. I’m so thankful.”
 
The winning ticket was purchased at A & B Discount Mart located at 23 S.Carrollton Ave. in Baltimore City.
