Return to Store Brings Big Returns

Dundalk Man Wins $50,000 on Cashblast Scratch-Off

(Baltimore) – Daniel McIntyre begins each day by stopping on his way to work to pick up a few scratch-off tickets. This morning, the daily routine turned out to be a bit more eventful than usual when he won $50,000 playing the Cashblast scratch-off.

Daniel first purchased his typical four tickets and proceeded to scratch them in the store. “I didn’t win anything and left,” said the 43-year-old industrial painter. “I was out of the store and decided to go back in because I saw there were only two Cashblast tickets left.”

After buying the tickets, Daniel once again scratched them there on the spot. The last ticket was the big winner. Initially, he thought he had won $1,000. When he finished scratching, he looked at the ticket and hollered, “I just won $50,000.”

Daniel accepted congratulations from the people in the store and then went to work.

“I got my guys started for the day and then came here to Lottery Headquarters,” said Daniel. The married-father-of-two also called his wife to tell her the good news. “I told her, you’re getting those new windows you wanted, maybe the privacy fence too.”

In addition to getting his wife her windows and fence, Daniel said he will give his daughters a little bit and pay bills with his winnings.

The winning ticket was sold at Royal Farm #092 located at 1440 Key Hwy. in Baltimore City.
