Bel Air Woman Scores a Touchdown with $10,000 Prize
Wins Top Prize on Tailgate Tripler Scratch-off

(Baltimore) – A 59-year-old retired school teacher combined her love of football and scratch-off tickets to win a $10,000 top prize.  On September 5th, the Terps fan purchased $5 worth of scratch-off tickets, including a Tailgate Tripler ticket, after checking out at the grocery store.  When she returned home, she scratched the tickets and realized that she was $10,000 richer.

Her winning didn’t stop there.  “I also won $102 playing Multi-Match this past Saturday,” said the winner.  “I’m on a roll and they say everything comes in threes.”  The grandmother-of-three plans to pay bills and share with her children.

Tailgate Tripler, a $2 scratch-off ticket, has three remaining $10,000 top prizes.  Celebrating the love of football and the hometown Ravens’ team, the ticket is a popular feature of the Lottery’s Tailgate Patrol at Ravens and Redskins home games throughout the season.

The winning ticket was purchased at Giant #365, located at 3299 Emmorton Road in Abingdon.
