Baltimore Man Celebrates $50,000 Bonus Match 5 Win

(Baltimore) – A Baltimore man came to Lottery Headquarters on Tuesday to claim his $50,000 Bonus Match 5 prize.  The 45-year-old has been playing the same Bonus Match 5 numbers every day for the past ten years.  “I knew I was due,” he told Lottery officials. “My numbers finally came through for me.”

The lucky man said the most exciting part of winning was sharing the big news with his wife.  “She never thought I would win,” he said.  “But now, she’s going to start playing too.”  The couple, who have been married for almost two years, said they will use the winnings to buy a house.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sam’s Lobby Shop, located on 10 N. Calvert St. in Baltimore.
