The Lottery is celebrating our Racetrax 6 for $5 promotion with four fun Racetrax parties across the state. At each location, every half-hour, one lucky player will win $500. Plus, lots of other prizes will be given away throughout each party. Admission is FREE to all of the events.

    What about a RaceTrax Party at Crabtowne in Glen Burnie ? They always have Keno parties and the best prize is a Tee-Shirt. How come the RaceTrax Parties with BIG prizes are being held in area’s with $$$$$ ?

      Jane: As you know, we do a lot of promotions at Crabtowne. However, with every new promotion, we try to hold parties throughout different areas of the State so all Maryland Lottery players have a chance to participate. When we held our Keno Patrol parties last year (giving away $5,000 at each location), one of the parties was held at Bill Bateman’s at Glen Burnie, on the same side of town as Crabtowne.     Why aren’t numbers drawn on Saturdays midday? I was told because the “kids” are home. They are home on Sundays.

      Sandra: It’s only the Saturday midday (12:27 PM) drawing that does not air. The reason is because children’s programming typically airs from 10AM until anytime between 12:30 and 1:30 PM. FCC regulations prohibit the airing of Lottery drawings during any children’s programming so we conduct it off-air and scroll the winning numbers after the children’s shows are over.

      Antony: Yes we have considered this bet option for Pick 4 in the past, but because of the amount of the wager $1 bet would be $24 or $12 for a .50 cents we have decided against it. It is also a costly software change on our behalf so we have put it on hold for that reason as well. We are keeping this option open, but have no plans to implement in the near future.
