Triple 6’s Prove Lucky for Pick 3 Players

Saturday night’s winning Pick 3 result, 6-6-6, turned what many see as an unlucky number into a most welcome one. The Lottery paid out more than $3.2 million in prizes, nearly $2.9 million more than what was gathered in sales for the game, and much more than the Lottery would normally pay-out for the Pick 3 game.
“Saturday’s winning numbers marked the third time this year we’ve seen Pick 3 triples,” according to Lottery Communications Director Carole Everett. “Triples always bring huge payouts,” she added. Pick 4 players should not feel left out. Lottery records show that Pick 4 has produced quadruples twice in 2010.
