Tuesday, March 12th, 2013Jackpot ticket sold in Adamstown, Frederick County
Since 2013 began, there have been four Multi-Match jackpot wins – three of which have been in Western Maryland. The most recent winning ticket, from last night’s drawing, was purchased at Stup’s Market in Adamstown and is worth $675,000. The cash option is $425,000.
Last night’s Multi-Match winner matched all six of the following numbers: 02, 28, 29, 31, 34 and 35. That winner has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
To start off the year, an Eastern Shore woman won a $700,000 Multi-Match jackpot on January 7. Since then, all Multi-Match wins have belonged to the western portion of the state:
- January 21: $575,000 winning ticket was purchased at Roxy Liquors in Hagerstown and claimed by a Hagerstown Army veteran.
- February 11: $625,000 winning ticket was purchased at Boonsboro Exxon and claimed by a 66-year-old Sharpsburg woman.
Multi-Match isn’t the only lucky game in Western Maryland. Earlier this week, David Cline from Middletown claimed a $50,000 top prize on The Price is Right scratch-off. The biggest win of the year for that part of the state was a $26 million Mega Millions jackpot ticket from Mt. Airy last month.
