Payday game has its 12th progressive jackpot winner
Today is a red-letter day for a lucky player who visited an Edgewater business early this morning to play the FAST PLAY Payday game. The customer won a $133,232 progressive jackpot, which is the third-largest out of 12 progressive jackpot-winning tickets that have been sold in the game.
Lou’s Stop Shop, located at 1208 Mayo Road in Anne Arundel County, sold the winning ticket. The progressive jackpot in this $5 game starts at $40,000 and increases with the sale of each ticket until a jackpot-winning ticket is sold.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. Winners of FAST PLAY games have 182 days from the date the ticket was sold to claim prizes.
The retailer also benefits from the big win. For selling a winning progressive jackpot prize of $100,000 or more, Lou’s Stop Shop in Edgewater earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery.
