Jackpot rolls to $453 million for Friday night’s drawing
A player in Greenbelt quadrupled his or her Lottery fun, winning a third-tier prize of $40,000 on Mega Millions last night.
The winning numbers from the Nov. 19 drawing are 5, 35, 50, 51 and 59 with a Mega Ball of 8 and a 4x Megaplier prize multiplier. The winner purchased the multiplier option for an extra $1 and quadrupled the $10,000 third-tier prize.
The lucky ticket was sold at the Greenbelt Shell at 8711 Greenbelt Road in Prince George’s County.
There were no jackpot winners in last night’s drawing, but there were 21,068 winners in Maryland between $2 and $500.
The Mega Millions jackpot continues to grow, with Friday’s jackpot is set at an estimated jackpot annuity of $453 million with an estimated cash option of $209.6 million.
The winner has 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prizes. Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of winning tickets immediately and keep those tickets secure until arrangements to claim have been made.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. More information on claiming prizes at other levels is available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website.
Mega Millions tickets are sold in 47 states and jurisdictions. Winning numbers are available at mdlottery.com and on your mobile phone by downloading the free Maryland Lottery app.
