8-spot bet delivers big prize
An anonymous Frederick player had plenty to smile about after revealing his $15,000 win on a Keno quick-pick ticket.
The lucky 40-year-old bought a ticket for one drawing and let the machine pick his eight numbers, which were 16, 17, 25, 27, 30, 38, 56 and 72. Because he added the Super Bonus feature to his ticket, his prize multiplied 10x.
The winner bought his lucky Keno ticket at Ballenger Creek Pike Exxon. The Lottery retailer, located at 5870 Ballenger Creek Pike in Frederick, will receive a $150 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more.
