$540,000 Multi-Match jackpot-winning ticket sold in Western Maryland
Congratulations to our two big winners in Thursday, June 20 drawings, which produced a $540,000 Multi-Match jackpot winner and $50,000 Bonus Match 5 winner. The winning tickets were sold in Frederick and Kent counties.
The Multi-Match jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the Four Corners Exxon, located at 4400 Mill Bottom Road in Mt. Airy. The winning Multi-Match numbers for the June 20 drawing were 5, 10, 11, 25, 30 and 37. This is the fifth winning Multi-Match jackpot sold in 2024. The lucky winner can choose between the $540,000 estimated jackpot annuity, paid in 25 equal installments, or an estimated $290,000 cash option (before taxes).
A player on the Eastern Shore is also smiling this morning after buying a $50,000 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket at Suds ‘n’ Soda, located at 1014 Washington Avenue in Chestertown. The winning numbers for last night’s drawing were 9, 15, 17, 18 and 37; the Bonus Ball was 4. This is the 19th top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket sold in 2024 and the second in two nights. A winning ticket was sold in Montgomery County on Wednesday, June 19.
Both retailers can also celebrate. The Frederick County retailer earns a Lottery bonus of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning Multi-Match ticket. The Kent County retailer earns a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket.
Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore.
