Delaware resident draws a third-tier win
An out-of-state player was all smiles when she arrived at Maryland Lottery headquarters this week with a winning $2 Powerball ticket. Her quick-pick ticket won the 57-year-old a sweet $50,000 payday.
The Dover, Delaware woman bought her lucky ticket at Giant #140 located at 5815 Eastern Avenue in Hyattsville for the Nov. 12 drawing. She plans to use her winnings to become debt free for the first time in her life.
No one hit the jackpot in last night’s drawing. On Saturday, Nov. 19, players can try to win an estimated jackpot annuity of $93 million or the estimated cash option of $46.7 million.
