Claims top prize on $100,000 Extreme Cash game on May 23
Last weekend kicked off just right for a 39-year-old Baltimore resident when he scratched off a top-prize winning $100,000 Extreme Cash instant ticket on Friday. The avid Lottery player primarily chooses scratch-offs, and said this was his biggest win ever.
“I scratched the ticket while I was at the store and noticed it was a winner,” the fork lift operator told Lottery officials. “I quickly left the store and took the ticket home to keep in my safe until today.”
The winner, who is unsure what he’ll do with his prize, is still in shock over his Lottery luck. He told some close friends and family members about his good fortune.
The $100,000 Extreme Cash game went on sale in September 2020 with 64 top prizes available. This win leaves 17 unclaimed top prizes along with 12 $5,000 prizes and hundreds of thousands of others ranging from $30 to $500.
The lucky winner purchased the $30 instant ticket at 7-Eleven #21054 at 5920 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore City. The retailer receives a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off.
