Bought lucky ticket in March 5 drawing
Pick 5 is producing $50,000 winners at a dizzying pace! Last week, the Lottery welcomed three $50,000 winners who came forward to claim their lucky prizes.
Among them was a Baltimore woman who placed a $1 straight bet for the big win. The 56-year-old purchased a $1 ticket for the March 5 evening drawing at US Gas in Halethorpe. She selected 6, 1, 1, 9 and 1 as her lucky numbers.
The addition of Pick 5 to the Lottery lineup marks the first time since the January 2016 launch of Cash4Life that the Lottery has introduced a new game. Building on the long-running success of its Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, the Lottery added twice-daily drawings of Pick 5 to its lineup on Feb. 7.
For selling the $50,000 winning ticket, US Gas located at 3300 Washington Boulevard in Halethorpe receives a bonus of $500 from the Lottery. This is the second $50,000-winning Pick 5 ticket sold by US Gas. The Baltimore City retailer first sold a $50,000 winning ticket in a Feb. 11 drawing.
