A $50,000 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket was bought at Weis Markets located at 3261 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater (Anne Arundel County) for the Sept. 3 drawing. The winning numbers to match are 4, 13, 19, 30 and 31; the Bonus Ball was 12. This is the 24th top-prize winning ticket sold in the game in 2024.
Three five-figure winning tickets are from the Sept. 3 Mega Millions drawing, which had winning numbers of 12, 41, 43, 52 and 55; the Mega ball was 9 and the Megaplier was x4. No one hit the jackpot, now set for an estimated annuity of $740 million for the Friday, Sept. 6 drawing and an estimated cash option of $366.3 million. If a player hits the jackpot on Sept. 6, this would mark the seventh-largest jackpot win in Mega Millions history.
Maryland players have won nearly $3.9 million in Mega Millions prizes during the roll. Still unclaimed is a $1 million second-tier winning ticket sold for the July 19 drawing from Quincy’s at 616 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.
In all, Maryland had 38,037 winners of prizes in the Sept. 3 drawing ranging from $2 to $40,000. The $40,000-winning Mega Millions ticket with the Megaplier feature was sold by Wawa at 10245 Kirksville Lane in Dunkirk (Calvert County). Maryland sold 5,924 winning tickets in the drawing with the Megaplier option.
Two $10,000-winning Mega Millions tickets were sold by 7-Eleven at 7411 Central Avenue in Capitol Heights (Prince George’s County) and by Giant at 18140 Village Mart Drive in Olney (Montgomery County).
Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
