Lucky ticket sold in Monday drawing
Check your Powerball tickets from last night’s drawing, Maryland! A lucky player bought a $50,000 winning third-tier ticket for the March 14 drawing from an Elkton retailer.
No one hit the jackpot, which rolled to an estimated annuity value of $133 million for the Wednesday, March 16 drawing. Maryland players had 7,628 winning tickets in last night’s drawing, with prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000.
Check your tickets closely if you bought one at Redner’s Warehouse Market #59 located at 311 Augustine-Herman Highway in Cecil County. You could be the $50,000 winner! The numbers to match were 21, 28, 32, 44 and 49; the Powerball was 6 and the Power Play multiplier was x3. This was the 18th third-tier winning Powerball ticket worth at least $50,000 sold in Maryland in 2022.
Lottery officials encourage winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. They get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
