A Trifecta Box bet gave lucky Delaware resident “T-Money” a winning Racetrax combination.
Winnings will buy a new home for Millsboro resident
An anonymous Racetrax player from Millsboro, Delaware found herself in the Maryland Lottery Winner’s Circle after a Trifecta Box bet led to a winning combination.
“T-Money,” as she nicknamed herself for the story of her Lottery luck, won $61,892 with one Trifecta Box wager on the 2, 3, 9, 10, 11 and 12 horses. She bet that three of those horses would finish the race in first, second and third place in any order. The 41-year-old bought her ticket on July 12 at the Salisbury Quick Stop in Salisbury. In her race, the horses won in the order of 11, 10 and 12.
“T-Money” said she plans to use the prize to purchase a new home.
Her lucky retailer also benefits from the sale of a winning Racetrax ticket of $10,000 or more. The Lottery will give the Wicomico County business, which is located at 2513 North Salisbury Boulevard, a bonus of $618.92. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
