A Baltimore man was all smiles after winning $50,000 on a 50X The Cash scratch-off. He now has a down payment for his family’s future home!
According to the hairstylist, Lottery luck came his way while he was shopping with his son at O’Connor’s Check Cashing & Liquors located at 4801 Eastern Avenue in Baltimore. He purchased the $10 50X The Cash instant ticket and started to scratch off the game inside the store. That’s when he saw he won the second-tier prize of $50,000 on his instant ticket. The player said he is very grateful for the win.
His wife was on vacation at the time so he called her to tell her the great news. The East Baltimore resident said his wife was excited and they have plans for the prize. “We are going to buy a house,” he said.
The $10 50X The Cash game went on sale nearly a year ago on Jan. 22, 2024. The Baltimore man was the eighth player to win the second-tier prize on the game. There are still two $50,000 tickets unclaimed. One of the $100,000 top prizes is still available, along with prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000.
