A 72-year-old Maryland Lottery player won a FAST PLAY Payday progressive jackpot with only a quick $5 play! The seventh progressive jackpot in the Payday game is now in the hands of “Family Man” and he sure is happy about it.
The Delaware resident’s win was as simple as stopping at the Corner Market in Delmar, picking up a few items and then paying $5 for a chance to win fast. He claimed the $94,898 prize last week at Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. What are his plans for his prize?

Also celebrating is Lottery retailer Corner Market. The Eastern Shore convenience store located at 1 South Bi-State Boulevard in Wicomico County earns a bonus from the Lottery of $948.98 for its sale of the jackpot-winning ticket. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
