Congratulations to Gato Solo of Glen Burnie on his second big Lottery prize this year.
Takes home $100,000 top prize on $100,000 Extreme Cash scratch-off
An Anne Arundel County business owner going by moniker “Gato Solo” is a regular Lottery player. One of his businesses is a restaurant, which is next door to a Lottery retailer. He frequently stops in to play his favorite Lottery games and sometimes walks out a big winner!
Earlier this year, the 54-year-old won a $30,000 prize on a $3 scratch-off bought at Parole Liquors in Annapolis. But this time, he came out of the store holding a $100,000 top-prize winning $100,000 Extreme Cash game.
While in the store, there was another person ahead of him in line also buying scratch-offs. However, that customer failed to buy the very last $100,000 Extreme Cash instant ticket on display. “Gato Solo” didn’t make that same choice. He decided to try his luck with the $30 game.
The Glen Burnie man only scratched off the bottom of the instant ticket to reveal the prize check area so that he could quickly scan it to see if he won. However, in doing so, he revealed a $100,000 prize. After that caught his eye, the loyal player decided to scratch off the entire game and the rest is history.
When asked of his plans for his winnings, “Gato Solo” said that he’s going to invest the funds. His business holdings include restaurants and barbershops.
Parole Liquors, his lucky retailer, also shares in the celebration. The store located at 2125 Forest Drive in Annapolis will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off worth $100,000.
