Fourth progressive jackpot won on Big Money Doubler game
A lucky Garrett County woman started 2024 off with a bang. On Jan. 3, she purchased a FAST PLAY Big Money Doubler ticket at Chestnut Ridge Gas & Liquors in Grantsville, and walked away with a $127,387 progressive jackpot prize.
The calm winner took the drive to Lottery headquarters in Baltimore with a friend on Friday. She told Lottery officials she hasn’t decided what she’ll do with her prize, and that she’ll wait to decide until the check arrives.
The $5 ticket has a progressive jackpot that starts at $40,000 and grows with the sale of each ticket until someone buys a progressive jackpot-winning ticket. The game went on sale in January 2023 and has 11 progressive jackpot prizes remaining. This is the fourth progressive jackpot won in the game.
For its role in selling the lucky ticket, Chestnut Ridge Gas & Liquors at 2534 Chestnut Ridge Road in Garrett County earns a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery.
