Lottery seeks winner of second progressive jackpot prize in $20 FAST PLAY game
Western Maryland is sending another lucky player to the Maryland Lottery Winner’s Circle. Sheetz #464 in Hagerstown last night sold the winning ticket for the second progressive jackpot in the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game.
The $20 game, which went on sale in January and is one of 18 FAST PLAY games available, features a progressive jackpot that grows with each ticket sold. The first progressive jackpot grew for more than two months until an Annapolis resident calling herself “Progressive Prospector” bought a winning ticket worth $922,143.
Check your FAST PLAY Diamond Mine tickets if you bought them at the lucky retailer. Sheetz #464 is also a winner. The store, located at 191 Eastern Boulevard North in Washington County, earned a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning FAST PLAY ticket of $100,000 or more.
The winner can claim the prize by mail or in person by appointment at Maryland Lottery headquarters, 1800 Washington Blvd., Baltimore. Get details on how to claim by mail here, and how to schedule an appointment here.
The Diamond Mine game features prizes ranging from $20 to $10,000 and the progressive jackpot, which starts at $250,000 and grows with each ticket purchased until a progressive jackpot is won. The game has 13 progressive jackpots remaining for players to win.
