A housekeeper from Prince George’s County can rest easier after making a bed of riches. Thanks to a lucky Jumbo Cash scratch-off, she can relax with a $50,000 prize.
The winner bought her $10 instant ticket at a Shell gas station located at 5398 Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville. After scratching off her instant ticket, she saw that she had matched the number 34 to score a second-tier prize in the game.
The happy Hyattsville woman told Lottery officials that it felt really good to win big. Her current plan for her new fortune is to save the windfall.
The Jumbo Cash game, which has a top prize of $250,000, went on sale in April. There are still three top prizes remaining, two $50,000 prizes, 16 $10,000 prizes and others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
