Months passed before the loyal player could claim the prize because she lost the ticket in her vehicle. The Joppa resident searched and searched, finally discovering the ticket had fallen between the seats. The relieved player claimed her prize this week at Lottery headquarters with her adult son by her side. She plans to put the windfall in the bank, saying she would “save it for hard times.”
The Lottery retailer that sold the winning ticket was Royal Farms, located at 500 Joppa Farm Road in Joppa. For its role in the big win, the Harford County business earns a Lottery bonus of $500.
