Baltimore County man claims top prize on $500,000 Crossword scratch-off
Playing scratch-offs one to two times per week is all a Baltimore County man needs to satisfy his Lottery hobby. He doesn’t look for any particular instant ticket but randomly selects one and awaits the outcome. The Gwynn Oak resident had a very happy outcome recently and is now awaiting income to the tune of $500,000, thanks to a top-prize winning $500,000 Crossword scratch-off.
The lucky landscaper bought two of the $20 instant tickets from a 7-Eleven located at 1001 Aviation Boulevard in Baltimore. After making his random buys, the loyal player took his games home to scratch them off. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing when he played the $500,000 Crossword game. With his designated letters, he was able to form 10 words in the second of three puzzles to win the corresponding $500,000 top prize.
The happy winner has decided to keep his scratch-off victory private. He does plan to use his winnings for investments. Having worked as a landscaper for about a decade, the scratch-off fan does not plan to retire yet.
Also celebrating is his lucky 7-Eleven. The Anne Arundel County business will receive a $1,000 Lottery bonus for selling a $500,000 top-prize winning scratch-off.
