Mt. Airy resident claims $36,000 prize on 5-spot ticket with Bonus multiplier
There’s a time to destroy, if you own a demolition company, and a time to build your fortune if you’re a lucky Lottery winner. A Mt. Airy man knows about both situations. He works in demolition and he just won a $36,000 prize on a Keno 5-spot ticket with the added Bonus multiplier.
The Keno player visited Mt. Airy Inn located at 1401 South Main Street in Mt. Airy for brunch and decided to enjoy a game or two. He only plays Lottery games on occasion. The lucky winner placed a bet for five drawings with the added Bonus on numbers 3, 21, 22, 36 and 77. and received the shock of a lifetime. His numbers all popped up in the first drawing.
“I couldn’t believe it,” the happy man said upon discovering his win. So far, he is still considering what to do with his prize. Mt. Airy Inn wins, too. The Carroll County Lottery retailer receives a $360 bonus from the Lottery for its role in selling a winning Keno ticket worth $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
