Scored big on $100,000 Ca$h scratch-off
A Georgia trucker who was traveling from Atlanta to Hagerstown turned a routine journey into one to remember. The Forsyth County man, who stopped for gas after dropping off his shipment, filled up his tank and then his bank account by purchasing a $30 $100,000 Ca$h instant ticket.
The $100,000 top-prize winner said he indulges in purchases of Lottery games every now and then when traveling. He’s racked up small amounts but never a top prize. When asked what made him purchase the lucky scratch-off, he said, “The ticket looked flashy and I figured it would be nice to win some extra money.”
The $100,000 Ca$h game has been available since September. The scratch-off started with 65 top prizes at the $100,000 level; 58 remain. Other prizes range from 434,117 $30 prizes to 36 $5,000 prizes.
Also benefiting from selling the $100,000 top-prize winning scratch-off is Love’s Travel Stop #682 in Hagerstown. The business at 18434 Showalter Road secures a Lottery bonus of $1,000.
