The 38-year-old had the option of going to either the Winter Games or the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. Lisa decided to take the trip to Italy.

“This is our first time out of the country,” Lisa said. She is taking her fiancé Josh. They plan to visit the Roman Coliseum, Venice and the Olympics games during their time in Italy.

“It is a lot to fit in, but we are going to try,” Josh said.

Lisa was one of three players that won the VIP trip to the Olympics as part of the promotion. Players could enter Mega Millions tickets into the Lottery’s My Lottery Rewards program for a chance to win a Team USA merchandise prize pack or a deluxe trip to the 2026 Olympic Games in Milan or the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The two other winners, Cheryl Harrow of Overlea and Julian Osborne of Sykesville, also decided to take the Milan trip.

Lisa is a loyal Mega Millions player and said she enters multiple second-chance drawings. She said she had a dream that she won the jackpot and remembers the numbers in the dream. She continues to play those numbers and hopes to one day hit the jackpot. The loyal player was shocked when she heard that she had won a trip and looks forward to watching figure skating at the Olympics.

“I didn’t remember entering the contest!” she said.
