Fort Washington woman claims last $50,000 prize on Lucky Riches game
Every now and then, a Prince George’s County woman will get an urge to buy Lottery tickets. A recent random stop at a local liquor store drove her right into ownership of a $50,000 top prize on a $5 Lucky Riches scratch-off.
The Fort Washington resident found her winning instant ticket at Three Roads Liquors in Brandywine. After scratching the entire play area on the game, she revealed a matching number 15 and the corresponding prize of $50,000.
The lucky woman says that she plans to use her winnings for a vacation.
Lucky Riches went on sale in February 2023 with eight $50,000 top prizes. Although our winner claimed the last top prize, this game still has three $5,000 prizes as well more than 168,000 prizes of $5 to $1,000.
Three Roads Liquors located at 13704 Brandywine Road in Prince George’s County will collect a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $50,000 top-prize winning instant ticket.
