Tickets sold in Prince George’s, Worcester counties
While some Marylanders were raking leaves this weekend, two Maryland Lottery players were raking in big prizes.
Congratulations to the lucky player who won $100,000 on a Powerball ticket bought at 7-Eleven #28808 at 1301 University Boulevard in Takoma Park. The player added Power Play to the ticket for the Saturday, Dec. 4 drawing, which doubled the third-tier prize from $50,000 to $100,000. The winning numbers were 10, 40, 45, 56 and 67; the Powerball was 2 and the Power Play multiplier x2.
No one won the jackpot, which rolled to $280 million for tonight’s drawing. The cash option is $205 million.
Our second big winner bought a progressive jackpot-winning ticket in the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches game. A player bought the $96,265 winning ticket on Dec. 4 for at Goose Creek #01 located at 2322 Stockton Road in Pocomoke City. This is the final progressive jackpot available in that $5 FAST PLAY game, which closed after this lucky ticket was sold.
Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners get 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
