Baltimore County man claims top prize on Ravens X5 scratch-off
A Reisterstown man, who’s played Maryland Lottery games since 2015, recently thought to himself that he could use a nice windfall. He was drawn to the $5 Ravens X5 scratch-off. The lines of hope and luck recently intersected in this player’s favor, earning him a $100,000 top prize on the instant ticket.
The Baltimore County resident had tried his luck at Royal Farms #034 located at 15 Hanover Pike in Reisterstown. He told Lottery officials that he likes this particular scratch-off because of the $100,000 payout at a $5 price. After buying his instant ticket, the married father of three sat in his car and began scratching off his game. When he matched the winning number 36 for the corresponding $100,000 prize, “I started shouting,” the loyal player recalled.
His lucky Lottery retailer has reason to celebrate, too. Royal Farms #034 will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off worth $100,000.
The Ravens X5 game went on sale in August with a $2 Ravens X2 scratch-off as part of a Lottery second-chance promotion. Two regular drawings remain, with prizes of season tickets for 20 years finalist status plus $10,000 cash, 2024 upper-level season tickets plus $250 in Ravens bucks, $10,000 cash and a pass-for-cash game day experience.
Ravens X5 began with seven $100,000 top prizes. This win leaves four top prizes remaining along with eight $10,000 prizes and others ranging from $5 to $1,000.
