Second-chance promotion offers prizes based on dates and numbers inspired by the movie
We are kicking off spring by offering a scratch-off ticket to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ hit film, Back to the Future.
The $2 Back to the Future-inspired scratch-off offers seven $10,000 top prizes. The game includes many references to the classic movie, including a “1955” symbol and a “Gigawatt”-themed Bonus.
Players can enter non-winning Back to the Future-inspired scratch-offs into My Lottery Rewards to automatically receive entries into the second-chance promotion, in addition to progress toward achievements. The promotion runs through July 14, with five drawings (April 22, May 13, June 3, June 24 and July 15). The second-chance prizes correlate with important dates and numbers within the movie.
- $8,888 (one winner): The number 88 relates to the speed at which the Time Machine travels.
- $2,025 (five winners): This number commemorates the year, 2025, which is the 40th anniversary of the movie.
- $2,015 – This number references the year in the future that Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to in the film.
- $1,955 – This number references the year to which Marty McFly travels back in time in the film.
In addition to the Back to the Future-inspired scratch-off, three other games launched today.
The $5 Mosaic Money scratch-off provides players 15 chances to win, with a top prize of $50,000.
Bingo lovers are going to feel the excitement as the Bingo X10 game is back for its eighth edition. The $10 ticket has a top prize of $100,000.
The oversized $10 More Money scratch-off also hit shelves today. There are 10 games on each ticket and 40 chances to win. The top prize is $150,000.
