Claims top prize on Gold Bar Bingo scratch-off
A Montgomery County player is $50,000 richer after winning the top prize on a Gold Bar Bingo 4th Edition instant ticket.
The Montgomery Village resident is a loyal scratch-off player. The avid fan realized that Lottery luck had come her way after she scanned the instant ticket’s prize check area for a win at a liquor store.
“She was surprised when she saw she had won,” said her daughter, who accompanied her mom to Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. The transportation driver told Lottery officials she is undecided on how she will spend her fortune.
The lucky Lottery retailer that sold the winning ticket was Chapel Beer and Wine at 19737 Frederick Road in Montgomery County. The Germantown retailer will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off.
This is the sixth top-prize win on the $5 game; two top prizes remain. There are also five $10,000 prizes awaiting discovery along with others ranging from $5 to $5,000. This fourth edition of the Gold Bar Bingo game went on sale in July 2023.
