Claims third top prize on $10 scratch-off
A Prince George’s County resident just won the third of nine top prizes on the Maryland Lottery’s mega-sized Mega 7s instant ticket.
The anonymous winner came to Maryland Lottery headquarters in great spirits with his good friend beside him. They stopped in the Winner’s Circle to share his winning story and then were on their way to grab a bite to eat and celebrate the mega win.
The oversized $10 Mega 7s instant ticket offers extended fun because it features four games in the play area: Sapphire 7s, Emerald 7s, Ruby 7s and Diamond 7s. Our New Carrollton winner found his big prize in the Diamond 7s game. The 55-year-old found a match to the winning number 26, which carried a $100,000 prize.
Also with reason to celebrate is his lucky Lottery retailer, which is located at 6010 66th Avenue in Riverdale. The Prince George’s County business, Super Convenience Store, will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a $100,000 top-prize winning instant ticket.
