Ten-year player wins progressive jackpot in Grand Progressive game
A longtime Lottery player from Odenton known as “Ms. Anonymous” is celebrating a life-changing win. She scored a $104,438 progressive jackpot in the FAST PLAY Grand Progressive game.
A Lottery enthusiast for over a decade, she describes playing as an “exciting outlet that potentially pays” and one of the few forms of entertainment that offers a financial reward.
A fan of Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 and Multi-Match, the Anne Arundel County resident has won a few thousand dollars over the years. Nothing, however, prepared her for the moment she discovered this big FAST PLAY prize.
The loyal player purchased her winning ticket while picking up a few other items from Lucky’s Deli & Market, which is located at 1101 Odenton Road in Anne Arundel County. “Ms. Anonymous” casually reviewed the FAST PLAY ticket, realized she won but was unsure of the amount. When the retailer shared the size of her $104,438 jackpot win, the reality of it hit home.
“I rushed to my car to take a moment to process what had just happened,” she told Lottery officials. She and her adult son, who was in the vehicle, took a few moments to celebrate before heading home. Despite her excitement, “Ms. Anonymous” has kept her Lottery news mostly under wraps, choosing to keep her win private.
When asked about her plans for the windfall, the winner revealed a mix of intentions. She plans to invest some of the funds, save some money for her children’s future and cover the cost of her next semester of graduate school. A dedicated humanitarian, “Ms. Anonymous” is actively involved in a nonprofit organization and also will use some of her winnings to support its mission.
As for her future with the Lottery? “Ms. Anonymous” said she isn’t stopping her fun hobby anytime soon. “Yes, I’ll play again. In fact, I plan on buying a few more tickets on my way home tonight,” she said with a smile.
“Ms. Anonymous” isn’t the only one celebrating. Lucky’s Deli & Market will receive a $1,000 Lottery bonus for selling a progressive jackpot-winning FAST PLAY ticket of $100,000 or more.
The FAST PLAY Grand Progressive game has a progressive jackpot that starts at $100,000 and grows with each ticket sold until a player buys the winning ticket. The $10 game went on sale in April 2024 and has 25 progressive jackpots remaining, along with six $50,000 prizes, 45 $10,000 prizes and others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
