Parkville Woman Gallops to $51,129 Racetrax Win

Places Superfecta bet for first time and wins big

A Baltimore County resident is celebrating a big Racetrax win, just in time for the holidays. The winner turned a routine stop into a day to remember after scoring a $51,129 Superfecta win.

Having played the Lottery for over 30 years, the winner and her husband enjoy trying new games and different number combinations. Their favorite game is Racetrax, which they say consistently brings them the best luck.

While grabbing snacks and Lottery tickets from the Wawa at 9809 Belair Road in Perry Hall earlier this month, the Parkville resident decided to try a Superfecta bet on her Racetrax ticket for the first time. The next day, she scanned her ticket and was stunned to discover her numbers had hit, earning her an impressive $51,129 prize.

“I still can’t believe it, but I want this feeling again,” she said with a laugh.

The happy couple kept the news under wraps, celebrating privately. When asked about her plans for the winnings, she shared that her priority is making this Christmas special for her family and loved ones. Beyond that, she intends to save or invest the rest of her prize.

Wawa will receive a $511.29 bonus from the Lottery for selling a winning Racetrax ticket.
