It was All Saints Liquors at 9105 All Saints Road in Laurel that caught his eye, and once inside, the store’s Lottery selection drew his attention. “I’ve been having luck with FAST PLAY tickets down here (in Maryland) and Big Money Doubler had a pretty big jackpot the last time I checked your website.” Big Money Doubler is a $5 game with a progressive jackpot, one that climbs each time a ticket is purchased until a progressive jackpot-winning ticket is won.
Our Pennsylvania winner checked his FAST PLAY ticket that evening at home using his Maryland Lottery mobile app. “I was in total disbelief when I saw the prize amount. I called my girlfriend, my friends – nobody could believe it.”
We imagine the good folks at All Saint Liquors were also surprised by the $162,441 win. Management at the Howard County business received a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery for selling a progressive jackpot-winning ticket over $100,000.
Big Money Doubler went on sale in January 2023 and has 10 more progressive jackpot-winning tickets available. The game’s progressive jackpot starts at $40,000 and grows with every purchase. Other prizes in the game range from $10 to $5,000.
